What are the goals of MDC’s North Star Project?

After I attend Basecamp and Expedition, what is next?
- Leverage the tools and templates you learn at Basecamp and Expedition to enhance the CSO competencies at your organization.
- Continue on with the MDC North Star cohort to improve your strategic planning competencies.
- You also have the option of contracting with Paterson to partner directly with your organization to support your strategic planning. MDC owners receive a 10% discount. (See FAQ 3 for more.)
Are there tools I need? Services I will have to buy?
- You don’t need to buy anything! All of the content in these workshops is designed to complement any current methodology you use to create your strategic plan.
- You have the option of contracting with Paterson to partner directly with your organization to support your strategic planning. MDC owners receive a 10% discount.
- There is zero obligation to initiate a contract with Paterson.
How do I collaborate going forward? Will there be more sessions as a group or more working with Paterson and my team?
- We hope to continue meeting as MDC CSOs! North Star is a new project, and MDC will monitor your feedback to make sure it’s adding value. If it is, and you want the journey to continue, we will absolutely support the growth of CSOs in each of their dimensions of strategic planning maturity.
- Additionally, as mentioned above, Paterson would be more than happy to contract with your organization in a way that suits your needs and continue our engagement and support, but there is absolutely no requirement to do so.
